The CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Operatives Test is aimed at individuals working in operative roles within the construction industry in the UK. It evaluates their knowledge of health, safety, and environmental issues relevant to their specific job roles on construction sites. The test is designed to ensure that construction workers have a good understanding of the fundamental principles of health and safety to promote a safe working environment.
The pass mark for the Operatives test is 90%. To pass, you need to answer at least 45 out of 50 questions correctly.
The Operatives test ensures workers have a minimum level of health, safety and environmental awareness before going on site. This test covers the following four core knowledge areas:
